We will schedule as close to the time you request.
Make sure to read your confirmation email.
Drivers License Requirements:
In Order To Obtain an Intermediate License (Under 18, Restriction T):
The Student Must Be:
1) Be at least 16 years old.
2) Have had a permit for 180 days with no accidents or tickets.
3) Have driven 50 hours with a permit; 10 of those hours at night.
(The Affidavit must be Signed and Notarized if under 18).
If a parent is present you will not need the affidavit. They will sign in person.
4) Have Completed Driver Training Program and have Certificate of Completion.
5) Pass The Driving Test (75%) at Merkley's or a testing center.
6) Complete the Oklahoma WorkZoneSafe.com safety course and bring the certificate with you.
Merkley's Driving School can test students eligible without a learners permit (if over 18) if they have proof of passing the written test from SOK. Waiting 30 days is NOT required if you did not pay to get a learners permit at SOK.
In Order To Obtain a Drivers License (18 years +)
1) Have had a permit for 30 days OR have taken the written test and NOT gotten the permit.
2) Pass The Driving Test (75%) at Merkley's or the SOK.
What to Bring:
1) $25 (CASH OR CHECK to SOK, Service Oklahoma)
2) Completion Certificate/Golden Ticket (not required if over 16.5)
3) Merkleys Remaining Balance (Cash, Check or CC)
4) Parent Affidavit (If under 18 or parent is NOT Present)
5) Oklahoma Permit (Under age 18 must have permit at least 180 days, Over 18 must have permit at least 30 days)
PLEASE search for it first. DPS did not keep it when you got your permit.)
